We were using a portable machine until our kitchen remodel was done. Really liked the features and the black stainless color. Love how quiet it is and it does a great job cleaning. Looks really nice with the new cabinets. We have other LG appliances and have had really good luck them.

We have shopped around and tried other name brands but one thing that is certain we ALWAYS come back to LG products. From TVs washers dryers microwaves and Frederators....dont waste another dollar or minute of your time. This new dishwasher is absolutely the best we have ever owned. Its fast quite and cleans the dishes the first time .

We just purchased an LG Thin Q model LDTH7972D. Weve not owned a top control dishwasher in the past but it seems odd that you need to open the door perhaps mid-cycle to access the controls or even see the remaining time for the current function. I suppose this protects the panel. There are 3 small LEDs on the front just above the handle. I find no reference in the manual as to their function. Any ideas?

Ive had this dishwasher a couple weeks and love it. The issue I have run into is that the very top rack sometimes get caught on my 12 oz glasses or items of that height. I have to make sure to put them on the right side of the rack as the top rack comes up a little bit higher on the right and they will fit on that side.

I love my new dishwasher. It has 3 racks. I put silicone utensils scissors spatulas and other odd things on top. The middle rack adjusts to hold my tall glasses and coffee travel mugs. The bottom rack fits two dinner plates side by side. I couldnt do that in my old dishwasher. I can load way more plates and bowls than I could before. It has a light when you open the door just like an oven. The silverware rack has slots for spoons that really helps me wash more silverware at once. I dont know how this dishwasher could be any better
