I bought my WashTower for a new space I built onto my house. We wanted to make everything new. It replaced my great aged LG Tromm. I gifted it to my daughter. My new LG is great as well. I plan to buy another WashTower again for another property. That said here are matters to address: Touch pad needs to be more intuitive Touch pad need to respond to touch much better than it does The AI function detects and by default chooses settings. Great. But when customizing settings that we use regularly there are functions available that user must research to discover. .A reservoir holding tank for detergent etc . . . would complete this product

I bought this set approx 1 year ago. From the day it was delivered it didnt dry. It would shut off after 5 min and give a D80 or D90 code. I called and was told I needed to have my vents cleaned before they sent anyone out. I paid to have my vent cleaned. LG made me send the receipt for proof. My dryer still didnt work. I called again and was told I needed to have my outlet tested by an electrician. I had my outlet tested and it tested good clothes still didnt dry. They had me send in pictures of my venting set up I was told it was perfect. It was ONE elbow and a 10 ft run. I called again they sent out a technician who was at my house for 2 hours couldnt figure it out and said maybe it was and issue with the flap at the end of my vent and I should replace the exterior vent. I called LG back and they suggested I buy brand new vent run and try to run it out a window to see if it would work with a whole new vent. Did that and NO STILL DIDNT workI called back and they sent me a link to a dryer vent vacuum from Amazon they wanted me to buy and try. Did that Still didnt work Finally After back and forth for 11 MONTHS They sent out a technician that was willing to take the whole dryer apart. Come to find out the vent INSIDE the dryer was not properly hooked up from the factory After almost a year of not being able to dry clothes multiple try this firsts before theyll send out a technician and HUNDREDS of extra dollars and many many hours for something that was never my fault to begin with I am able to dry clothes The fact that they made me jump through hoops for almost a whole year before someone was finally able to take the time to figure out the issue was insane. Absolutely terrible customer service. I should be compensated for the time and money I had to personally spend for something that was a LG issue. I will NEVER purchase another LG product.

I recently did a renovation of my kitchen and bath/laundry and this machine has been in use for about a month now. I absolutely love it. My favorite thing is the Steam Fresh cycle on the dryer. Ive used it for throw blankets dog bedding and pillows and in 10 minutes everything has come out beautifully refreshed. Both the washer and dryer have large capacity and the machine is very quiet.

Ive had this combo for 4 months. We have relocated the laundry room to the first floor and needed something smaller. It has been fabulous and has exceeded our expectations for a smaller unit. It handles a king size comforter very well. The cycle is shorter than expected and the settings are accurate.

I LOVE my LG WashTower It is the best investment I have purchased in a very long time Im the type of person who does not believe everything they read and have to try it for themselves to prove how it works. I thought it would be wonderful to have a short wash cycle possibly to shorten all my wash loads so I tried an experiment of using the short cycle for a load of quite dirty clothes. WRONG I was then convinced as it was written in the manual to use it for a smaller load of lightly dirty clothes and it worked fantastically I have tried many of the different options and I totally agree with the suggestions offered in the manual. The dryer part of the WashTower is a work of wonderment Again I optioned to try drying a load of bedding sheets on high for a long time and they came out wrinkled. So washed them again and used the suggested cycle for drying and they came out of the dryer PERFECT Hardly any wrinkles If you follow the suggested washing and drying cycles you will love this WashTower as much as I do

Weve been using this machine for a couple months now and heres my experience so far: The Good It does a good job cleaning. It does so effectively and quietly. I like the app features but more on that later that let you control the unit to a degree from your phone. Since we have ours in the basement I also like that I can check the estimated time remaining in the cycle remotely and that it sends me a push notification when my washing/drying is done. The lint trap is far easier to clean than my previous dryer. I like that the front control panel does not have any printed-on button labels - on my old machine the lettering rubbed away likely from age/exposure to solvents in the cleaning products. That should not be an issue with this design. I also like the central placement of the control panel vs. stacking units that could go side by side which would make the dryer controls positioned above my head. Overall the performance has been good so far but I am a nit-picky person so... The Bad While the lint trap is easy to clean I also have to clean the rubber door gasket on the dryer every couple of cycles as it collects lint on it in a way my old machine never did. I thought the rear vent inside the dryer was starting to rust but upon further inspection it looks like it may have had some kind of adhesive on it that has collected lint which is now stuck to it. I have found some of the settings to be counterintuitive or require some backtracking to get the machine to do what I want. For example some settings lets say a particular water temperature steam etc. are only available in certain wash modes. I find I end up going through a cycle setup only to find that I cant do steam and then need to start again guessing at a different mode that hopefully will allow me to input the settings I want. I could also look through the manual each time or eventually memorize them all ? but thats not any more convenient to me than what Im doing now. I wish I had more control rather than the unit deciding its smarter than I am. If I want to super steam my delicates I should have that right. Similar story with trying to activate the interior light - sometimes it will let you sometimes not. Why must use of the light be restricted at times? Who is the light going to hurt? Though I really like the app its crazy that so much basic functionality is locked away in there instead being accessible from the main control panel of the unit. For example it is not possible to set a delayed cycle from the main control panel but this can be done through the app. I cannot fathom how this point got through a product design review. This is incredibly basic functionality and there are so many opportunities for it to break - if I dont have a smart phone or if its battery dies or I dont have it available if I dont have wifi or the wifi in my house goes down if the wifi hardware fails on the washer/dryer if the wifi signal is bad from my router to the washer/dryer location if LG decides to stop supporting the app or to start offering it as a subscription service. If any of these things happen then basic functionality of the unit is entirely inaccessible. And thats just what I can think of right now. Who was in charge of this decision? Its NUTS The app is great but some of these functions should really be part of the physical control panel.

This laundry center replaced a standard washer and dryer due to a renovation. I love that it is a space saver. Unit is quiet when running. Make sure to remove bolts at back of machine to avoid having to pull it out again. There sure be better tags to advise these need to be taken off before putting machine in service.

This unit was purchased because it fit the space available for a washer/dryer and I could reach the controls. The laundry room electrical plumbing and vent systems are all new. The washer seems to work well however after 2 months the air-flow indicator on dryer gave a code indicating an 80 block in air flow. The bottom line is the air flow in the NEW vent system was completely clogged. LG claims the dryer is working as designed but drying new towels yields very little lint on the filter seems it is going out the back of the dryer toward the outside. Bottom line is Ill have to pay for someone to clean the outside vent every two months to prevent a fire hazard. I have been drying clothes for 70 years and this is the first time that Ive encounters this issue. Ill NEVER purchase another LG product because they deny there is an issue and leave me with a fire hazard.

I have no more compliments for LG-WashTower after my experience with hose connection issue that developed just eight months after new installation. The problem: after installation cold water rubber hose was rubbing against the dryer vent. The hose melted and started leaking. Unlike individual washer and dryer the combo WashTower is heavy and one need a heavy person to pull the machine out and push it in. LG would have thought about such scenarios and provided quality hose with the machine and trained the installers appropriately. Picture attached for review.

While weve only had this a month so far its been better than expected. The wash cycle is faster than weve come to learn for a high efficiency washer which was a pleasant surprise. Clothes come out very clean. App is OK but usable. Integration into Alexa is really nice. Very nervous being a single unit how easy it will be to repair down the road. If one unit dies youre throwing out the other half. They do come apart for repair and moving but that just adds to the time and complexity which will be much more expensive for a repairman and much more time for DIY repairs. Fingers crossed that remains to be seen.

We are moving our laundry center into a closet near our bedrooms and this fit perfectly. Our daughter bought one a year ago and loves it. Only complaints are that the buttons need a lot of pressure to push and that you cant change the drying temperature if you select normal mode. It is locked into high. We got around this by selecting a different mode. We love the turbo wash and the steam wrinkle/static reduction. We have not used a dryer sheet since we started using the wash tower. We are very happy with the purchase.

Have this tower for 1 year now and its been great. Fits in the wall space very quiet and does a great job especially on the super speed wash cycle. All the rest of my appliances are now LG.

This washer/dryer combo is very easy to use and has many fantastic features. Outside of being highly space saving the barrels of each washer/dryer are very spacious. Clothes come out very clean with minimal laundry soap used...highly highly recommend

We purchased the LG Washtower on April 7 and the retailer installed on April 13 2023. The washer makes a loud screeching sound every time the tub changes direction. Contacted retailer who referred us back to LG. Spoke to numerous LG representatives over several weeks/ Per one LG representative sent videos showing washer noise. Never hear back. The retailer has decided to do an exchange.

I bought this over a year ago and wish I would of done something about it soon. Have three babies and a full time job its really hard to figure out why an appliance sucks. Every wash I do it smells rotten so I run an empty cycle with vinegar first to see of that would help. The rubber part turns moldy and is almost impossible to clean and collects dirt and grime. I keep the door open so it can dry out and not get more moldy with the moisture. I should not need to clean a washer each use. I hate using it and now I an stuck with it because I would feel bad selling it to someone. I hate this washer but the dryer is fine.

Has not performed properly since I purchased it 8 months ago. Wash cycle takes over two hours soap remains in tub when cycle stops dryer always takes additional time to dry even small loads. Technicians say nothing wrong even though soap remind after cycle whe no soap was used. Used tub cleaner as recommended but no change. Presidential liaison did not follow up with me even though I sent Tarshunia several pictures. Disgusted with product and service.
